How payments work
- You connect your own merchant or payment processor account (like Stripe or Square)
- When attendees buy tickets, the payment goes directly to your account
- Ticket revenue goes straight to your bank - not through us
- GetTix.events never holds your funds
- No payout delays caused by the platform
What this means for you
- You are the merchant of record for ticket sales
- You have full visibility into every transaction through your payment processor
- You choose your own payment processor and negotiate your own rates
- Funds are deposited on your processor's normal schedule
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for your payment processor relationship
- Credit card processing fees are paid by you to your processor
- You handle chargebacks, disputes, and refunds
Platform fees
The ticket fee you set (minimum $2.00) is split 50/50 between you and GetTix.events. GetTix invoices you for our share of the fees collected. See the Pricing page for details.
